Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week is November 1st to 7th

From our family to yours, please check all CO alarms and test that they are working properly, and change any batteries. If you do not have a CO alarm in your home GO GET ONE TODAY! Install CO alarms outside all sleeping areas and on every story of your home.

  • If you have any fuel burning appliances in your home (eg. stove, furnace, water heater, fireplace) or an attached garage, YOU NEED A CO ALARM!
  • Replace any CO alarm over 10 years old
  • Have your fuel burning appliances inspected by a certified technician every year to ensure they are working properly.
  • Never operate a generator or barbeque indoors, THEY PRODUCE DEADLY CO GAS!
  • CO Can strike any time of year, it never takes a vacation (see our 365 Safety Campaign below)
  • If your CO alarm goes off, GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND CALL 911

Protect your family from the silent killer!
